Laura-Pascale Fontaine de Ghélin is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Translators and Interpreters.

She holds a master’s degree in translation from Dutch and English into French (Institut Libre Marie Haps) and a specialised master’s degree in multilingual corporate communication (Ghent University). She has also completed a training in international trade in the context of the ‘Explort’ programme of the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency AWEX (Belgium and India).

After a brief period in communications and public relations, Laura worked as a project manager for more than 3 years and as an in-house translator/proofreader for more than 5 years in two translation agencies. As such, she was in a position to correct and evaluate the work of many translators.

She set herself up as a freelance translator and proofreader in 2014. Less than a year and a half later, she was so successful that she founded her own company: Fontaine de Mots SPRL-S.

Fontaine de Mots SPRL-S proposes translation and proofreading services towards French, Dutch and English thanks to a carefully selected network of partners.

The company’s clients are located in the European Union (Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, United Kingdom, Sweden, Ireland, etc.) as well as in Switzerland and the United States.
